The final rehearsal of the day comes from Baby Lasagna who is representing Croatia with “Rim Tim Tagi Dim”.
Baby Lasagna retains the key elements of his Dora winning performance but has increased the nods to Croatia in the staging. Valentina Pliško has designed the costumes which are a nod to Croatian folklore. Eurovision reports on Reddit that the performance has been scaled up for Eurovision with LED animals and the use of smoke jets, fire jets and fireworks.
Who Is Baby Lasagna?
Marko Purišić, known professionally as Baby Lasagna, is a Croatian singer-songwriter. He was born on 5 July 1995 in Umag, Croatia.
Marko Purišić started his musical career as a guitarist in the Croatian rock band Manntra between 2011-2016 and 2018-2022. As a member of the band, he has already participated in Dora 2019. Manntra came fourth with their song “In the Shadows” receiving 12 points.
In 2023 he started pursuing a solo career under the stage name Baby Lasagna which came to him as a eureka moment while shopping.
In October 2023, Baby Lasagna released his debut single “IG Boi”. This was followed in December 2023, by his second single “Don’t Hate Yourself, But Don’t Love Yourself too Much”.
