Croatia’ Coworking Pula Opens After 3.6 mln Euro Investment

Croatia’s northern Istria county announced on Wednesday the opening of Coworking Pula, a co-working center in the northern Adriatic town of Pula, following a 3.6 million euro ($3.8 million) investment aimed at fostering entrepreneurship in the region.

Funding for the centre included 2.4 million euro from the European Union Regional Development Fund, 893,000 euro from the town of Pula, and an additional 305,000 euro allocated by the Croatian Ministry of Regional Development and EU Funds, the county authorities said in a press release.

The centre covers an area of 1,500 square metres and includes offices, an open space area and a hall with 120 seats.

The centre was established through a conversion and reconstruction process that took over a year to complete.
