After more than fifteen years, the diaspora has its representative in the Miss World Croatia competition.
The Miss Croatia Diaspora 2023 contest, powered by Eko Stridon, took place last night in the Gospodar prstenova hall in Tomislavgrad, Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The winner is twenty-five-year-old Tomislava Dukić from Tomislavgrad. She graduated from the Faculty of Kinesiology in Split, is very disciplined, and dedicated to sports activities and a healthy lifestyle.
Monika Bodulović and Margita Hrženjak were declared as her runners-up.
The girls wore clothing by Tomislavgrad designer Marijana Dukić, specifically her brand of Mon Cheri bags, Angels fashion, and bridal gowns from the Nikolina bridal salon.
To make them shine at the competition, the beauty studio M by Martina Kelava, the “Z” hair salon by Zdravka Mihojević, beauty studio “Milla” by Milla Mamić, beauty studio “DM” by Dragica Mioč, makeup artist Dražena Tokić, and the Pink Lady hair studio by Cecilija Smiljanić took care of their looks.
The program, hosted by Frano Ridjan and Maja Pašalić, featured performances by Ivan Ivica Martić and, as a special guest of the evening, Mate Bulić and violin artist Nikolina Pandža Skoko from Mostar.
The owner of the Miss Croatia license for Miss World, Iva Loparić Kontek, emphasized her joy at the successful realization of the Miss Croatia Diaspora event after so many years. “I would like to thank the government of the Herzegovina-Neretva Canton and Mr. Ivan Vukadin, the mayor of Tomislavgrad, Ivan Buntić, the city of Livno, the general sponsor Eko Stridon, gold sponsors HT Eronet, Marina Frapa Resort from Rogoznica, BTG d.o.o Tomislavgrad, as well as the host, the Gospodar prstenova hall,” Iva said.
The Miss Croatia Diaspora contest was also the last event where a representative was chosen for the finals. Like all the county winners, she has secured her place directly in the final of Croatia’s oldest beauty pageant, the Miss Croatia 2023 competition.
This year marks its 30th anniversary, and the most beautiful Croatian will be crowned on November 27th in Zagreb.
