Get ready to immerse yourself in Croatian culture as the Croatian community in Milwaukee gears up to host the eagerly anticipated Croatian Fest once again.
Following the tremendous success of last year’s event, which saw over 1,000 attendees, organisers are aiming for an even bigger turnout this year. Mark your calendars for July 15th, when Croatian Fest will take place from 10 am to 10 pm.
The festivities will commence with a Croatian mass at 11 am, providing a spiritual start to the day. Following the mass, at 2 pm, the Croatian cultural program will kick off, showcasing the best of Croatian traditions, music, and dance.
Live music will be performed throughout the day by the talented Ivan Heller & Majstori, and when it comes to food, Croatian Fest has got you covered. A wide range of delectable treats awaits you, including renowned Croatian bakery goods, ćevapi, lamb and pork dishes and more will be available.
The Croatian Fest is made possible by the generous sponsorship of the Federation of Croatian Societies, an organization dedicated to preserving and promoting Croatian culture. The festival takes place in the beautiful and spacious 30-acre Croatian Park, a remarkable space that the federation acquired in 1956 and has maintained ever since.
So, mark your calendars, gather your loved ones, and prepare yourself for a memorable day of Croatian culture, music, food, and entertainment. Let the Croatian Fest transport you to the enchanting land of Croatia without leaving Milwaukee.
Admission is free.
