Turkish A National Football Team will face Latvia in Konya today in the seventh match of UEFA 2024 European Championship (EURO 2024)Qualifying Group D. The match, which will be broadcast on TRT 1, will start at 21.45 Türkiye time.
The National Football Team, which became the leader in the group by defeating Croatia away, will qualify for EURO 2024 before the last matches in the group if it defeats Latvia today.
The match at Konya Metropolitan Municipality Stadium will start at 21.45 Türkiye time. The match will be broadcast on TRT 1. Referee Enea Jorgji from the Albanian Football Federation will officiate the match. Denis Rexha and Ridiger Cokaj will be the assistant referees of the match and Florian Lata will be the fourth referee.
In the other match of the group, Wales and Croatia will meet on the same day. Armenia, another team of Group D, will have a bye on the seventh match day.
WINNING WILL BRING EURO 2024 TICKET
Türkiye, leading the group with 13 points, will be guaranteed to complete the group in the first two places regardless of the results of the other matches if it increases its score to 16 and will win the EURO 2024 ticket.
Croatia has one match less in Group D and is in second place with 10 points. Armenia and Wales, who have 7 points each, are ranked 3rd and 4th in the group. Latvia, which defeated Armenia in its last match, is in last place with 3 points.
The Turkish team will complete the group matches with an away match against Wales on November 21.
The group stage, which will determine the 20 teams participating in EURO 2024, will end with matches to be played on 16-21 November 2023. The top 2 teams in 10 groups will qualify for EURO 2024.
