A Croatian Wine is Named Among Top 35 in the World

Saints Hills Winery’s “Le Chiffre” wine secures an impressive 35th place on the list of top 100 wines in the world

Following an exceptional success earlier this year when Ernest Tolj Dingač earned a high score of 99 out of 100 for the second time from the prestigious Wine Enthusiast Magazine, Saints Hills Winery achieves another significant milestone on the international wine scene.

The “Le Chiffre” Chardonnay, a wine from Saints Hills Winery,  which is located on Croatia’s Pelješac peninsula, has been included in the list of the top 100 wines in the world for the year 2023, securing an impressive 35th place in the same prestigious magazine.

The Wine Enthusiast Magazine, renowned for its undisputed expertise and significant influence in the world of wines and spirits, showcases the latest trends in the wine industry.

Their experienced editors, with over 700 expert ratings and reviews in each issue, undertake the challenging task of evaluating and selecting the best wines from around the globe. This year, reviewers scrutinised and rated over 20,000 wines tasted blindly.

This ranking of the “Le Chiffre” wine, distinguished by its unique terroir and character, represents a significant leap forward for Saints Hills Winery. In addition to confirming the exceptional quality of their wines, this success further solidifies Saints Hills’ position on the global wine map.

The ascent of Saints Hills Winery in the global market and in the ratings of reputable magazines like Wine Enthusiast signifies a strong indication of its continuous growth and development. Simultaneously, it promotes Croatian vineyards and the Dalmatia and Istria regions on the world stage.
